I have had the privilege of living in The Far North for 10 years - first in Whangaroa and now Ruakaramea. Before that my family and I lived in Te Upoko o te Ika a Maui - Wellington for 10 years, as well as various countries on the way to Aotearoa. I have worked as an educator in Aotearoa, Malaysia, Bermuda, and the UK, teaching, learning, leading and consulting, for nearly 30 years. I have worked alongside primary and secondary kura and communities all over Aotearoa, in my role as a PLD facilitator.  My passion is supporting mana motuhake for all ākonga - big and small - honoring and valuing individual and collective strengths, experience, values, and beliefs.  I am deeply grateful to be part of our Cluster 1 RTLB roopū, to support diversity and inclusion in our kura, for mokopuna and whānau. 

When I’m not working I am with my family, and in the moana as often as possible.
